Magical Items

Smile Pact

The Smile Pact (スマイルパクト Sumairu Pakuto) is a compact-like device that allows the girls to transform into Precure, and harness the power of the Cure Decor pieces.

Powers

The Pact itself is powered by the special Cure Decor pieces. To transform, the girls open the Smile Pact and set their ribbon-shaped Cure Decor inside. They then call out "Precure! Smile Charge!", then use a powder puff to spread magic onto their bodies, allowing them to change into their Cure Forms.
The Smile Pact also grants power to the Cures. It gathers fighting spirit from the Cures and changes that into energy to perform their finishing moves. Happy gets her power by squeezing her hands to fists, and screaming to the sky, Sunny by taking masculing stance, Peace by squeezing one of her hands to fist and holding Smile Pact in her other hand right in front of her, March by squeezing Smile Pact with her both hands on her pelvis, and Beauty by squeezing Smile Pact on her chest.
In addition, other Cure Decor pieces can also be inserted into the Smile Pact to grant the Cures additional abilities and items. Many of them create something little to Candy, like costumes and haircare accessories. Also placing special Cure Decor to it, it creates the Princess Candles to Pretty Cures, and later performing group attacks Rainbow Burst, and afterwards Royal Rainbow Burst.

Appearance

The Smile Pact looks like a standard powder compact in pink/dark pink, with a pink/white ribbon set on top. A gold piece with the Smile! emblem is set into the center of the Pact's lid. Inside, there is a recess for the Cures to insert Cure Décor pieces in to activate different powers, as well as seven round lights in the colors of the rainbow. There is also a gold heart-shaped piece with the Smile! emblem, set into the center. Inside the top lid is a small circular mirror.

Trivia

  • The Smile Pact is the third cosmetic transformation device in the Pretty Cure franchise, being based on powder compacts. The first one is the Milky Palette (eyeshadow palette) from Yes! Pretty Cure 5 GoGo!, followed by the Heart Perfumes (perfume bottles) from Heartcatch Pretty Cure!.
  • Like Heartcatch Pretty Cure! (Heart Perfumes), Smile Pact also can use the collectible things to increase powers.

Cure Decor

The Cure Decor (キュアデコル Kyua Dekoru) are special pieces that can be used either to revive the Queen of Märchenland or bring about the Worst Ending. Each Cure Decor piece symbolizes the source of power of happiness of the Queen. The Cure Decors are stored inside the Decor Décor.

Appearance

Cure Decor pieces can be shaped like animals, food, fruit, flowers, cosmetics, and all kinds of other everyday objects, but they are all engraved with the Smile! logo. All Decor pieces have a small ribbon with a heart-shaped jewel attached.

Powers

When set into the Smile Pact (and Royal Clock starting in Episode 33), each Cure Decor piece will produce a specific item or grant the girls some power or ability. Most of these pieces were stolen by Pierrot before the beginning of the story, when he attacked Märchenland and sealed its Queen. The stolen pieces were stored in Red Noses which the Bad End Kingdom villains use to create the Akanbe monsters.
Six special pieces, shaped like ribbons, are used by the girls to transform into Pretty Cure.
Five special pieces, shaped like jewels, give the Cures the ability to power-up to their next form, Tiara Mode, and to perform group purification attack Rainbow Healing.
Five more pieces, which allows the Cures to go to their third form, Princess Form, and allows the group to do Rainbow Burst with the Princess Candles.

Trivia

  • The Cure Decor serve a similar function as the Heart Seeds of Heartcatch Pretty Cure!, with multiple uses such as allowing transformation into Pretty Cure and conferring various different powers and abilities to the Cures.
  • When set into the Smile Pact, a background voice(Candy's voice) calls out "Let's go, _____", with the name of the Cure Decor piece in Japanese inserted into the blank.
  • All Cure Decors, including Transformation Decors, have the Smile! emblem engraved on them. All the Cure Decors (except the transformation Decors, which only have a jewel circle) have a small jewel heart on them.

Decor Décor

The Decor Décor (デコルデコール Dekoru Dekooru) is a special trunk used to store Cure Decor pieces. The item's sole purpose is reviving the Queen of Märchenland when all of the Cure Decor pieces are collected and placed inside the case. Its first appearence was in Episode 6 when Pop gave it to the Cures. The Decor Décor is similar to the Dream Collect in Yes Pretty Cure 5 . The Dream Collect collects the pinkies and the Decor Décor collects decors.

Abilities

The Decor Décor is similar to the Smile Pact in that it has different functions depending on the Cure Decor piece inserted. Royale Queen has also power to speak telepathically through it, when it happens, it shines brightly. Inside it, there is 16 places for Cure Decors. First time, after collecting full set of Decors, it shines and transforms into new Cure Decor. After putting the Decor to Smile Pact, it creates Princess Candles to the Cures, that makes them tarnsform to Princess form and use Rainbow Burst attack. At the second time, when Candy places the final Decors to their places, it forms a clear light beam directly above them and fill the room with light. After the shiny light is gone, there is Royal Clock next to the Decor Décor.

Princess Candle

The Princess Candle (プリンセスキャンドル Purinsesu Kyandoru) is the Cure's main weapon appearing in the 23rd episode of the series. The weapon resembles a rod-like sword with a Pegasus design and a Jewel in the tip.

Information

The Princess Candle serves as a weapon for the Cures to perform their secondary group attack, Rainbow Burst. This weapon can be obtained in episode 23 with the Cures power-up called Princess Form. To use this object, the Pretty Cures must have strong feelings before Smile Pact glows to summon Princess Candle. With them, and the Royal Clock, they can also perform their third group attack, Royal Rainbow Burst.

Appearence

The Princess Candle is a scepter with two pink and white handles in the lower part with a ribbon where the Cure Decors can be inserted. In the middle part there is the head of a pegasus with a gold wing. In the upper part there are five gems, each one from a different theme colour of the Cures. One the very top is a crystal on a gold calyx that shines the theme color of the Cure using it.

Trivia

  • The Princess Candle mirrors the Yes! Cures secondary weapon, the Cure Fleurets as they also have the same function on executing a group attack as well.
  • The Princess Candle's heart shaped handle is similar to the handle of Sailor Moon's Kaleidomoon Scope.

Royal Clock

The Royal Clock (ロイヤルクロックRoiyaru Kurokku)' is a special new weapon in Smile Pretty Cure! The weapon is a strange clock with wings and a control panel to put a Cure Décor. It has twelve panels, and there are six colors for the panels, there are two white colored, two blue colored, two green colored, two yellow colored, two orange colored, and two pink colored panels.

Information

The Royal Clock was summoned upon collecting the second set of Cure Decors, allowing the Royale Queen to communicate with the Pretty Cure. After Candy briefly summoned the Phoenix's power to turn the Hyper Akanbe summoned by Wolfrun into a normal Akanbe, she became able to use the Royal Clock to upgrade Rainbow Burst into Royal Rainbow Burst, which can purify Hyper Akanbe. Every time Royal Rainbow Burst is utilized, the counter on the Royal Clock advances by one towards the count of 12, but it is unknown what will occur when the counter finishes.

Appearance

The Royal Clock is a rare object similar to a clock with a pink crystal among the numbers, over the numbers there's a pink button, which Candy uses to start the performing of Royal Rainbow Burst. At the sides of the clock there are two white wings, and below the the clock there's a control panel like what is in the Smile Pact, and there is also a hole to put the Décor.

Trivia

The Royal Clock is similar to the Heartcatch Mirage. Both have the same function to perform a Group attack. As well, both work with a small item, Heartcatch Mirage with Golden Heart Seed, and Royal Clock with White winged heart Cure Decor.
